Brandt was born and raised in Cape Town in South African. She emigrated to Auckland New Zealand with her family in her late teens. Brandt's talent was discovered in Auckland through local cast director Brandt. She was cast in the part of Naevia in the Starz series Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Her character was popular with audiences and production team members Steven S. D Knight, Sam Raimi and Sam Raimi. She was a part of the cult Netflix show Lucifer that ran for a six year run playing the fan most loved Vertigo/DC comic book character Mazikeen. Lucifer was a smash hit and broke binge records and was named as the best shows that were binge watched in 2021 by Forbes. Brandt's next performance will be in the six-episode Walking Dead spin-off in 2024 with Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurrira. Her other Netflix shows include animated adult comedy Captain Fall starring Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan, Jason Ritter, and Chris Meloni. This will be aired in July 2023. Lesley-Ann Brandt is a South African actress, born in Cape town on the 2nd December 1981. She is a New Zealand actress with a impressive talents. Lesley Brandt along with the rest of her family relocated to Auckland New Zealand, in 1999. After just a couple of years working in retail, she was promoted to the IT Manager consultant. Lesley started out modeling and then began to appear in commercials. In 2008 she graduated from her studies and enrolled in Meisner method of study. Lesley Brandt's first notable performance was in the TV drama series Diplomatic Immunity, which aired in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt is a supporting character on New Zealand television drama Shortland Street. Her next appearance was in This Is Not My Life. It is based off the true story of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt was cast as Naevia the young hostage and featured later in the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena miniseries in the Television show Spartacus: Blood and Sand.
