Ashley Jones

Ashley Aubra Jones. Born September 3, 1976. Ashley Aubra Jones has been an American actress for over 20 years. She has a number of soap opera roles including Megan Dennison in The Young and the Restless as well as Bridget Forrester in The Bold and the Beautiful. The actress played Daphne as a regular on her role in the HBO series True Blood's 2nd season. Ashley Jones graduated in 1997 with a degree of Bachelor of Human Learning K-8 from the University of Tennessee at Martin. She began her professional career as teacher in Maury County where she taught students in Kindergarten and First Grade Reading. When she got married to her UT Martin sweetheart Brent Jones in 1998, she relocated into Thompsons Station. Bethesda Elementary was where she first taught the fourth grade. In 1999-2000, she taught and completed her masters in Education from Trevecca Nazarene University. She quit her classroom in 2000 after they welcomed their son Baylor. Ashley's last 15-year focus has been growing children in her own church and the community at large. She also serves as a volunteer in different roles. Ashley was a teacher of the Preschool as well as the Student Ministry in Thompson Station Church for over 13 years. Ashley taught her children at home during the time she was at her home. Ashley taught History at the home school tutorial during their years of at-home schooling. God taught her family that even though she loved being at home with her children and being with them for a while and spending time with them, it was the right the time to send Ashley back to the classroom. Brent and Ashley have five kids. Silas and Eliza as well as Cruz all go to GCA. Baylor, who is a GCA graduated, is a student at UT Martin, where he plays baseball at the university. Callan is also a GCA graduate is enrolled at Western Kentucky University. The family is engaged and they enjoy fishing, hunting and supporting one another in sport.
